How to be faithful to God?
It’s not easy. You will need to ask God for help to be faithful. Perhaps, this is a quick reminder that, we are dependent on our heavenly Father for everything. There is no need to boast about anything. The Psalmist long ago identified our dependency on God. Please keep praying in order to be faithful.
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. Psalm 51: 10-12 (KJV)

Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another; and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name. Malachi 3:16 (KJV)
God is eternal; He is faithful (the sole reason to seek Him as my shelter)
For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds. Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth. Psalm 57:10-11 (KJV)
I believe (and I am saved)
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:10 (KJV)
Focus on eternal always, if you want to be saved
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18 (KJV)
Being a Christian – a saved soul
On account of what are we Christians? Everyone would say, “On account of faith”.
– St. Basil the Great
How do you recognize one’s faith?
[The demon Screwtape writes:] Do not be deceived, Wormwood. Our cause is never more in danger than when a human, no longer desiring, but still intending, to do our Enemy’s will, looks round upon a universe from which every trace of Him seems to have vanished, and asks why he has been forsaken, and still obeys.
– C. S. Lewis (taken from The Screwtape Letters)
